On the ground floor, what was once a wine cellar is now the family room, with the original vaulted ceiling. Comfortable sofas surround a large fireplace. This room is furnished as well, with a large refectory table, a sound system and television with satellite reception.

Next to the family room is a spacious kitchen, with a 6-burner Cornue stove and a table seating 8 to 10. There is a separate entrance to the courtyard outside, with an additional breakfast table.

Finally, also on this floor is a bedroom with attached bathroom overlooking the courtyard fountain.
